Vicky’s story

High anxiety peace of mind.

“In the beginning the choking feeling of anxiety could last all day” Vicky

Despite being a passionate full-time teacher, Vicky was struggling with all the stresses and strains that the role can bring.  Vicky loves her work but the challenges in her personal life and work life were getting on top of her.  Vicky lives alone in Southsea, yet she desires to move to Holland to be with her partner.

Vicky felt deep anxiety and panic at the thought of going to work.  She often distracted herself from feeling her feelings with food and screens.  Now she’s overcome her addictions and self-limiting patterns, and hasdeveloped a more intimate relationship with her feelings and can healthily self-nurture and self-regulate.

“I felt exhausted with the cycles of anxiety, I had a whole week off from work due to overwhelming anxiety” Vicky

On Sundays, Vicky’s only full day off, she would experience crushing anxiety and panic at the prospect of facing work the next day.  Vicky had deep feelings of loneliness which left her feeling numb inside.  To distract herself away from these uncomfortable feelings she often found herself eating takeaways in front of the TV.

Vicky was very seriously challenged with feelings of loneliness, which sometimes led to feelings ofabandonment.  Her relationships with food were causing inner-conflict, and were a sure sign that she was masking something deeper.  Vicky was carrying a lot of deep inner-beliefs around food which she learned from family.

To add to this, just prior to her beginning her transformation on the program, her mother unexpectedly died.  This added deep grief into the mix.

Vicky found a new way of being and deepened her connection with self to feel confident and whole again.

Vicky discovered new ways to connect with her inner child.  This allowed her to begin to unravel her relationships with food.  She began to be able to make more space for herself and she let go of the strategies she was using for distraction such as excessive screen time, watching TV or comfort eating.

“Working with my inner critic and saboteur was a soul moment of the program for me and is now fundamental in navigating my day to day!”  – Vicky

Vicky learned unique meditations and breathworks which connected her into her subconscious beliefs and family wounds around food.  Vicky was able to reframe those beliefs for new healthy ones.  Vicky was able to establish what her real talents and skills were, and how to weave them into her life.

Vicky learned how to create new habits and release old destructive ones.  Vicky embodied what she learnedthrough a process of acknowledgement, realisation and transformation.

Vicky was able to connect with her grief and sadness over her mother’s death through meditation and breathwork.  This allowed her to integrate her grief, allowing the waves of this nonlinear process to move her and to acknowledge that to grieve is a normal and important part of our human experience.

The daily support, accountability and check-ins meant that Vicky felt heard and could hear herself again

“I never once felt judged by Elios when I relapsed on my journey. He would just guide me back to my feelings and show me how to work through my emotions. My cycles and patterns have changed.” – Vicky

Vicky was able to connect with how she felt underneath the noise and untangle trauma-bonded relationships which had existed for her as long as she could remember.  Through careful guidance, daily check-ins and accountability with Elios, Vicky’s anxieties evaporated.  Vicky almost completely forgot how she had previously felt on Sundays and is now able to really enjoy her days off.

Vicky developed a healthier relationship with food.  Vicky found the energy and motivation to prepare nourishing meals in advance and to avoid takeaways and other foods that do not serve her well-being.  Vicky has a newfound joy and gratitude for the food that she prepares to support her thriving.

“I’m not using screen time or food as an emotional crutch anymore. I feel so much more confident and calmer.” – Vicky

Vicky recreated her environment in her flat so that her lounge, which used to be a place of sadness, loneliness and self-soothing, is now a space where she carries out daily meditation and yoga.  She’s even converted her “TV space” into a dedicated reading and study area.

Vicky has now stepped more into her power and built new relationships and emotional dynamics with her father.  Vicky was also able to integrate and change her story around her connections with her grandmother and with her mothers death.

Vicky is an independent woman who loves life and is full of energy.

6-month post program update: Vicky resigned from her job in the UK and has moved to live with her beloved in Holland. She is now delivering dance as an instructor and teaching language privately!)
